Looking for an effortless breakfast that’s rich and decadent? These Red Velvet Cake Waffles are fluffy, flavorful, and bursting with that classic red velvet charm, all made effortlessly with red velvet cake mix.
Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the red velvet cake mix, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle maker, filling it to the recommended level. Close the lid and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until the waffles are cooked through and slightly crispy on the outside. Carefully remove the waffles and repeat with the remaining batter.
Meanwhile, prepare the cream cheese drizzle by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk in a bowl until smooth. Set it aside. For the chocolate drizzle, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Serve the waffles warm, topped with whipped cream, cream cheese drizzle, and chocolate drizzle. Garnish with chocolate chips and chopped pecans for an extra crunch.
Notes
