Ingredients
  

  • 4 Chicken thighs bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • Chopped Parsley to garnish
  • Lemon Wedges to serve

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a small bowl, mix the seasonings; garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush olive oil over the chicken thighs and rub this mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
  • Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
  • Flip the thighs over and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Brush the chicken thighs generously with BBQ sauce on both sides.
  • Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to caramelize the sauce and create a sticky glaze.
  • Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  1. Ensure the chicken thighs are patted dry with a paper towel before seasoning. This helps the skin crisp up in the air fryer.
  2.  Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer, leaving space between them for proper air circulation. Cook in batches if necessary.
