These fluffy Nutella waffles are a chocolate lover’s dream! Infused with rich, creamy Nutella, they’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Serve with extra Nutella drizzle, fresh fruit, and whipped cream for an indulgent treat the whole family will love!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Whipped cream to serve
  • Fresh fruits to serve
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the Nutella. Use a whisk or hand mixer to mix until well combined.
  • Add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter, whisking until smooth.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.
  • Lightly grease the waffle iron, then pour ⅓ cup of batter in, spreading it evenly. Cook according to your waffle maker’s instructions until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm with extra Nutella drizzle, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.

Notes

  1. Slightly warming the Nutella makes it easier to mix into the batter.
  2. For extra crispiness, let the waffles rest on a wire rack instead of stacking them.
  3. These waffles freeze well and stay fresh for 3 months,  just reheat in a toaster or oven for a quick treat!
  4. The recipe yeild 10 square waffles.
